One of the greatest lessons she teaches our children is how to live free, free from insecurities, from the opinions of others, free from all the bad memories she had when she had to hide who she was.

She shows us that true freedom is living a life where you are completely in love with who you are, and where you feel comfortable being who you are regardless of who is around you or what people think.

To live any other other way is exhausting, it tires the soul to live each moment worried about who is going to see you and what they might say. We wear more make up than necessary to cover a mark on our face, we dress a certain way even if we are not comfortable to impress others, we buy things we don’t need to impress people we don’t know. I was guilty of most of these things (except the make up :D), before I was married.

We all worry too much about fitting in that we never stop to think that we were born to stand out, to express who we are, and inspire others to do the same. That is the power of being strong enough to stay true to yourself

Today she stands before us as a proud wife, a loving mother, and one of the strongest women I know. A woman who is completely at peace with who she is, who is completely free from the thoughts and opinions of others, a woman who loves herself which gives her the heart and strength to love others just as much. She is a blessing in our lives, الحمدلله.
